Jesus taught those who followed Him how to worship God. He says….”God is a spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth”. (John 4:24)

Over the years, men have often left or changed the activities practiced by the New Testament church. The Christians at this congregation seek to worship God in every act of obedience to Him by following the simple and spiritual pattern of collective worship as revealed in the New Testament.

What to expect:

  • The Lord’s Supper: This memorial consist of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine which represents the broken body and blood of Jesus. (I Corinthians 11:20-34) We observe this memorial each first day of the week in commemoration of Christ’s death and sacrifice for our sins. (Acts 2:24, 20:7)

  • Congregational singing of songs of praise and exhortation to encourage and teach in spiritual truths. (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16)

  •  Bible preaching presenting simple and understandable lessons from God’s word to exhort, rebuke, and increase faith. (Acts 2:42, 20:7)

  • Prayers of request and thanksgiving offered with humility to God through Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:42; I Thessalonians 5:17; I Timothy 2:1-4)

  • Voluntary Contribution. Our guest are not asked or expected to give a contribution. Only the members are expected to give each Sunday to carry out the scriptural work of the church. (I Corinthians 16:1-2; II Corinthians 9:6-7)
